Music Notation
This lesson will cover the basics of music notation.
Music notation looks something like this:
This is called a Treble Clef.
A clef indicates whether the notes will be high or low in pitch.
The notes of the treble clef are high.
The five lines that everything is resting on are called the Staff.
This is called the Time Signature.
This tells us what type of rhythmic feeling the song will have.
This is called a Barline.
A barline devides the music into short blocks called measures.
Last but not least, this is a Note.
