Naming Notes on the Piano

This tutorial will teach you how to name all the white notes on the Piano.

The music alphabet is similar to the normal alphabet except for a few key differences:

First, highest letter in the music alphabet is G.

A B C D E F G
Second, after G the letters start over again with A.

A B C D E F G&nbsp A B C D E F G A

To name any note on the piano, first find A.

To do this:
1) Look for any set of three black keys

2) Find the white key on the middle right.

You can easily find the other notes by following the order of the alphabet. If you go past G, the next letter is A again.
