In the next set of lessons, you will be asked to write Minor 6ths in music notation.
Because a Minor 6th is a large interval, it can be helpful to anchor off of a nearby interval that is familiar.
It is recommended that you think of it as a Perfect 5th + a Half Step.
Sometimes, especially if the first note is an accidental, it may be easier to think of it as a Half Step + a Perfect 5th.
Both yield the same end result.
